Why are we so shocked about the outcome of national elections, natural disasters, moral upheavals, and massacres? Our modernist secular society can't grasp the idea of authentic true beauty because it is enslaved to selfishness, instant gratification, and moral relativity. Our nation's brain is polluted with smut, greed, laziness, and legions of other impure demonic idols. We have reverted back into paganism, we've even brought back human sacrifice (abortion) to an epic national level.
But do not lose hope. Let us not forget that the Americas have been converted from paganism once before. In 1531, Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin, was used as the catalyst for an American Pentecost (the largest mass conversion to Christianity in history: nine million people in Mexico over an eight year span, nearly ten-thousand converting each day). Our Lady of Guadalupe helped convert the pagan Americas once, and she'll do it again- by total consecration to Jesus through Mary, also known as Marian consecration.
In Luke 1:46, Mary said, "My soul magnifies The Lord.." That means the role of Mary (most pure and beautiful) is to magnify Truth and Love Himself. If we wish to see and understand God more clearly in our lives, it will be through the "magnifying glass" of Mary.
When I was a young boy, I used to wreak flaming havoc on ant-beds with my magnifying glass. Likewise, Mary magnifies the Sun and if we align ourselves with her, we will catch on fire - with the fire of the Holy Ghost. However,
we must first change ourselves and our hearts if we wish to be tools of change for the improvement of the world.
Truth+purity+beauty+charity=changed hearts. Changed hearts= change minds. Changed minds=changed lives. Changed lives=changed culture. BUT first we MUST start with truth, purity, beauty, and charity. We MUST start with Total Marian Consecration!
Locally, we have organized as The Militia Immaculata. Our goal is to battle for truth, purity, beauty, and charity by promoting Total Marian Consecration. The Militia of the Immaculata (MI) is a worldwide evangelization movement founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe in 1917. It encourages total consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary as a means of spiritual renewal for individuals and society. It employs prayer as the main weapon in the spiritual battle with evil. MIs also immerse themselves in apostolic initiatives throughout society, to deepen the knowledge of the Gospel and the Catholic Faith in themselves and in others.
Marian consecration is a formal act of self-giving that does not stop at Mary, but is Christ-directed. It is really consecration to Jesus. The MI's mission is "To Lead Every Individual With Mary to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus."
By joining the MI, members become willing instruments of Our Lady, the woman foreshadowed in Genesis 3:15. She leads them to personal sanctification, the conversion of Church opponents and ultimately the universal reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Now your question might be, "So why a militia?" The answer is: because it's time to fight back. We are called to fight! Some might wonder "W
hat is a militia?" A secular definition would be: a body of citizens organized for military service. But we are not calling for "hand to hand" physical combat; it is more like what St. Paul is talking about in Ephesians 6:11-12, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil." Or in this reference, "There is no holiness without renunciation and spiritual battle" 2015 Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC). And finally, “Labour as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 2:3.
Those statements are a call to take arms! Truth, is the new hate speech. Purity, is the new taboo. Orthodoxy, is the the new rebellion. Join the counterrevolution today!
